About this Permanent Archive

This archive is designed as a long-term preservation and discovery layer for the published work of Timothy Speed. It is not a replacement for institutional repositories, libraries or the author's active websites. Instead, it provides an additional independent preservation layer in which publications, metadata and the structure connecting them can be stored permanently on the Arweave network. The archive is continuously maintained during the author's lifetime. New publications may be added and the navigational structure may be updated. Earlier archival states may remain preserved through immutable Arweave transactions.

Preservation note

The PDF files contained in this archive are the canonical files of this archival state. Where a PDF identifies itself as an author manuscript, research version or other non-publisher edition, that embedded statement remains authoritative. Machine-readable HTML and Markdown versions are provided for preservation, accessibility, indexing and future computational use. In cases of discrepancy, the corresponding PDF and its bibliographic record take precedence.

Open archival state

This is a continuing life archive, not a claim to final or complete works. Later publications can be added while earlier Arweave manifests remain historical archival states.

Files and verification

The root metadata files describe the corpus. works.csv, bibliography.bib, metadata.json and SHA256SUMS.txt support discovery and integrity checking.
